Greetings
visitor, wow, made it all the way back to my bio did you?
Well here goes, I've lived most of his life in the Great Pacific Northwest. I've been drawing since before I could walk, no really, once I even ruined a fur couch (vintage 70's) with cherry lipstick my mom had left lying around. Growing up I sketched popular forms of entertainment and nature. These earlier works ranged from Dracula to Super Mario Bros. I entered and won several art contests and awards ranging for still life and portraits. In high school and college I published some works in local arts journals.
While my art has changed a lot over the years, I've always enjoyed cartooning, especially comic strips. As a kid I frequently read Calvin and Hobbes (before it ended), Garfield (before it should have ended), and The Farside (when did it start?). The Internet has opened up lots of opportunity for cartoonists, but I didn't see a whole lot of horror comics out there. I've been a part of the horror online community since 1997 and was curious to mix my interests of horror and humor, I created The Horror... to portray the rants and raves of the modern horror movie fan.
When not drawing The Horror..., I also create, commission, and sell oil paintings on my main commercial site, Horrorart.biz. I hope The Horror...can offer fans of horror movies an occasional chucky and therapy for both the best and worst in the genre we all love.
